History and art make our territory unique, starting with Portogruaro, a city of art and culture, known as the “City of Colonnades” because of its frescoes and Doric and Corinthian columns.
The city is surrounded by large and small urban areas rich in Roman remains, including Bibione where an outstanding spa was recently renovated and opened as Bibione Thermae, presenting all the latest ideas for personal wellbeing.
Caorle is another gem: its historic centre develops around Via Terrà, but it is also lovely to wander through the narrow streets and alleys lined with rainbow coloured houses.
A little farther west, on the coast, stands Venice, where strong ties with the Byzantine Empire have left us some of the most important artistic treasures in the world, mirroring the perfect bond between Western and Eastern art and architecture.
Another must to visit is Concordia Sagittaria, a prestigious city of art that offers spa facilities, a Roman amphitheatre and fantastic finds in the Civic Archaeological Museum.
Going north, just one hour’s drive away, is the alpine scenery of Belluno, the gateway to Cortina and the Dolomites National Park.
